I have tested the new winter tyres on our snow-covered city roads with great pleasure))))
Hankook Winter I*Pike, 215/75 instead of 235/70 (we took the one that is more narrow than the summer tyres), no studs installed.
Well, it does handle it, the car holds the road perfectly.
We plowed one snowy site that hadn’t been touched by the locals’ wheels)) There was about 30-50 cm of snow; it was loose but dense enough. No breastwork or any other obstacles were detected ))
I have to admit there does stay some chance for drifting on the icy road covered with a bit of snow, but it still allows having a good control of the car.
